Dr. Chris W. Masila is an accomplished and health management and thought leader in the private and public sectors in healthcare and health systems strengthening in Kenya, Eastern and Southern Africa under the PractHealth Consulting brand. Chris has worked as a consultant/full time engagement with an inspiring set of organizations including World Bank, Cardno Emerging Markets, Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), DFID/UKAID, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Pharmaceuticals Kenya, United States Pharmacoepia (USP), Living Goods, Ministry of Health in Kenya, Tuberculosis Diseases Programme, ECSA-HC, Living Goods and many more. Chris is a member of numerous local and international professional and business bodies/associations. He is particularly passionate about intersection between business modeling and redefining healthcare in addition to leveraging the pharmacy/supply chain sector to improve access to basic healthcare. Chris holds a Masters in Business Administration (Competitive Strategy) from Strathmore Business School and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Nairobi. Dr. Masila has been recognized and awarded by World Bank, ECSA-HC and many more for his exemplary performance and delivery for some of his pioneering work in the health sector.
