SIB Kenya aims to assist businesses to become more sustainable and inclusive.
Sustainability needs in this process differ from business to business depending on the current status and the track you are looking for.
SIB Kenya therefore provides relevant and specific knowledge, tools and networks to begin/stretch this journey. Here’s a list of networks you could benefit from:
Netfund
NETFUND Incubation Program runs for a duration of 2 - 4 years delivered in three phases. It provides an array of business support services for green start-ups to realize their full market potential. The projects are identified through the NETFUND Green Innovations Awards (NETFUND GIA). Through this program, NETFUND supports the Government of Kenya’s ideals of green growth in the Kenya Green Economy Strategy and Implementation Plan (GESIP). This plan is linked to the Vision 2030’s social pillar that advocates for a just and cohesive society enjoying equitable social development in a clean and secure environment.

Kenya Climate Innovation Centre
The Kenya Climate Innovation Center (CIC) provides holistic, country-driven support to accelerate the development, deployment and transfer of locally relevant climate and clean energy technologies. The CIC provides incubation, capacity building services and financing to Kenyan entrepreneurs and new ventures that are developing innovative solutions in energy, water and agribusiness to address climate change challenges.

RETRAK
The Retail Trade Association of Kenya (RETRAK) is the voice of the retail industry with the main objective being to provide retailers with a central representative body to put across their agenda and retail trade concerns to government agencies, parliament and other bodies for their benefit.

Kenya Agricultural and Agro Industry Alliance
The need for closer collaboration between State and Non-State Actors is critical given the social economic importance of agriculture and the complimentary roles played by both the Government and Private Sector in its growth.
This has long been identified and where it has worked well like in the developed world, agriculture thrives. The existing collaboration between the state and non-state actors in Kenya needs strengthening to ensure it serves the needs of the various actors in the Agricultural Product Value Chains (APVCs)

Kenya Healthcare Federation
Kenya Healthcare Federation (KHF) is the health sector representative for the Kenya Private Sector Alliance. KHF is dedicated to engaging the government and all relevant stakeholders in achieving quality healthcare by maximizing the contribution of the private sector. The Federation works with care providers, hospitals, pharmaceutical manufacturers and insurers to promote strategic public-private partnerships toward achieving national access to quality healthcare.

Kenya Flower Council
Kenya Flower Council (KFC) is a voluntary association of independent growers and exporters of cut-flowers and ornamentals, formed in 1996, with the aim of fostering responsible and safe production of cut flowers in Kenya with due consideration of workers welfare and protection of the environment.

Inclusive Business Accelerator
This is an open innovation platform that connects social innovators, business coaches, impact investors and advisories to find the right local partner, finance, oppurtunities and market information.

SEED Africa Symposium
The Seed Africa Symposium is an international forum that enables investors, policy makers, business leaders and practioners to examine emerging trends in the green and enterprenurship space in order to stimulate growth and developing solutions.

Bio-innovate Africa program
This program emphasis on the use of modern biosciences to improve crop productivity and resilience to climate change in small-scale farming systems and to increase efficiency in order to add value in a sustainable manner.

SNV
SNV provides access to advisory services, promotes the development and brokering of knowledge and support policy dialogue at the national level. SNV focuses on oppurtunities in agriculture, water, sanitation, and hygiene and renewable energy.

SEA focuses on business that have lucrative business models that have solutions to corporate problems in order to enhance sustainable enterprenuership. Furthermore, SEA provides grants for sustainable business concepts.

WBCSD
This organization aims in creating businesses that are inclusive in order to galvanize the global business community by expanding access to goods, services, and livelihood opportunities for low-income communities in commercially viable ways.
